Please save the date, bring your family and friends to join us at the opening of the most important Hmong exhibition of all time, featuring Hmong Culture and History. Pioneered by a California statewide effort, the grassroots preservation project gathered, researched and documented the Hmong people’s journey from Laos to California. After two intense years of work, the Hmongstory 40 project will finally be unveiled for the public to experience the stories and celebrate the history and struggles of the Hmong Refugee resettlement.
America is a nation that consists of people from immigrants to refugees and California’s richness is intricately woven by the diversity of all the cultures. The experiences that each new wave of people contribute, is what makes the Golden State exceptionally and intriguingly special. Please join us and discover the Human’s will to endure while experiencing the Hmong story and history.
Hmongstory 40 will open Saturday, December 12, 2015 through Saturday, January 2nd, 2016. Admission is free only from December 12th through December 24th. **Admission fee is required to enter Fresno Fairgrounds beginning December 26th through January 2nd.
